Okay so this post is gonna be in English as this trip is an "English" trip so...
Let's begin my story shall we?
First off, it was my privilege to be able to travel twice a year and within six months to two different countries
Although I've been to Australia but I haven't been to Gold Coast and was wanting to go there ever since young
And to be honest, my dream came true this year
This trip to Gold Coast wasn't really my trip though, it was suppose to be my parents' trip
But due to several reasons, my dad can't go and I was then replacing his travel spot
And I was lucky enough that this trip fell on my Reading Week, which means one weeks of holiday
But too bad I had lots of assignments to catch up with so it was a half enjoy half stress kinda feeling trip
I started my trip during the 25th of October but that was full day on the plane
Started my journey at 10.10am and ended up in Gold Coast around 8.25pm
My mum was already there in the hotel when I arrived o I need not worry about checking into the hotel
And I'm really lucky that we got a beach phrase apartment, which means our living room opens out to the beach view, cool eh?
Also, the apartment where I live in is located in Broadbeach North and is close to many shops and restaurants
And that practically ends my first day, oh and also first day's dinner was Mcdonalds
Second day was kinda packed as we made ourselves through Sea World!
It was a really nice place to visit the marine life animals like dolphins and penguins
But if you're keen on whales, you gotta spend extra money to visit them in the ocean
Sea World isn't at all big although it's a one day tour with lotsa shows going on
There's a mini theme park with a helipad ride (with extra cost)
I enjoyed it there, seriously, although I got sunburned from the UV Rays -,-
Third day was to Currumbin's Wildlife Sanctuary!
Although the sanctuary is by the roadside but it was fun having to meet the Koalas, Kangaroos and Wallaby's
Oh and not to mention, I loved the Dingos there too!
A lot of shows were performed during our visit there, eg, Bird Show, Australianian Show, Aboriginals show, Lorikeet feeding etc.
If you're keen on walking through mother nature's track, I suggest you to visit this place
Not only surrounded with green nature but also nature's gifts like animals
And if you're an animal lover, you'll love it here as there's a spot where Kangaroos and Wallabies are free from cages, you can pet them, take selfies with them, anything you want.
Koalas
Dingos
Lorikeet Feeding
Aboriginals performance
Bird Show
Super Big Kangaroo
Fourth Day was a leisure day, not too rush with schedules and outings
So we just went for Ripley's Believe or Not, an Aquaduck cruise, Night Market and Shopping
Okay so I'm not gonna blog about Ripley's as there's one in Genting already, nothing special
But Aquaduck! OMG if you're in Gold Coast you gotta sit on one of these!
It's a transport which brings you on land and water and it was the most exciting transportation I've ever enjoyed
But I gotta remind you that the Aquaduck is kinda bouncy on land as the tyres are specially made for water hahahaha so you'll bounce your way to the Nerang River and back on land again
It was pretty fun though although bouncing on land hahahahaha
After that, we decided to take a stroll by the beach in the Night Market at Surfer's Paradise
Surfer's Paradise is a place full of youngsters and a shopping paradise for everyone
It's kinda like the heart and the rise of Gold Coast and yes it's a tourist spot
I was told that the Night Market consists of more than 80 stalls
But probably due to bad weather, there were less than 10 stalls opened .__. which was kinda disappointing ._.
But anyways it did not affect me cuz I did a lot of shopping that day
Went to Cotton On and Ice Design and bought clothes and then souvenirs for friends and then some food shopping as well
Before we end the day, we had dinner at Hog's Breath Cafe (mommy said she must come back here before we depart for Malaysia as the Beef Ribs here is good)
Night view at Caville Avenue Tram Station, Surfer's Paradise
Last but not least, my final outing in Gold Coast was..... Movie World!
I was looking forward to this day for Movie World but somehow it was fun however a slight disappointment ._.
Disappointing is not that it's not much fun but seriously, it's small ._. You can finish it in less than a day
I didn't really go on the rides as most of them are roller coasters (I have phobia for heights)
But somehow manage to squeeze in the kids coasters like Scooby Doo spooky coasters and Road Runner coasters
It was kinda freakish for me during the Scooby Doo ride (although design for kids)
Then it was the parade with lotsa cool movie characters, my favorite was Batman!
And yes I found a store which sells Harry Potter merchandises but sadly, it's pricey .__.

Okay and last day was nothing, just returning to Malaysia from my short getaway
Although my day was short but still, I enjoyed the trip very much!
Goldcoast is a place where you need to visit this place!
Fair beaches, white sands and crystal clear waters is what's famous in Gold Coast
It was truly an amazing holiday for me.
Well, that's all folks! The End.
